On Sept. 28, 2012, I’ll turn 25. In the spirit of setting down challenges (and borrowing from Shannon Collins who created a “30 before 30“) I’m publicly listing 25 major things I’d like to accomplish before reaching quarter-life. As I complete these items, I’ll note it here.

  4. Attend performance of the Goldberg Variations
  5. Run the Ragnar Relay (200-mile 12-person team relay from Miami to Key West)
  6. Run a Half Marathon | Done.

  8. Attend the 2012 Olympics in London
  9. Travel by train from Beijing to Moscow
  10. Finish traveling the continental United States | Done.
  11. Enjoy 100 beers in a day at McSorely’s Wonderful Saloon
  12. Spend 24 hours on the New York City subway
  13. Complete The Great Saunter, a 32-mile walk around the perimeter of Manhattan
  14. Complete the Philadelphia Broad Street Run
  15. Visit the Statue of Liberty
  16. Read The Face in the Frost to my little brothers, and five others by John Bellairs
  17. Attend Traditional Latin Catholic Mass | Done.
  18. Ride in a helicopter | Done.
  19. Move to Philadelphia | Done.
  20. Reach Penn State Student Radio Endowment goal of $25,000 | Done.
