It’s a great time of year to enjoy Penn State and Central Pennsylvania.

It’s Homecoming weekend, we’re playing Maryland tomorrow at Beaver Stadium, and the chill in the air is just light enough that it’s still possible to sit outside with a hot coffee and a light jacket and enjoy being there.

It’s strange to think that The Willow Gathering is already past its fifth anniversary. It seem like we started it just yesterday. Time flies.

I’m looking forward to the game tomorrow, to tailgating with friends, etc. The older I get the more enjoyable these traditions get.

I’d like to hike Mount Nittany, but I don’t think that’s going to happen on this trip.
