Since leaving for Cincinnati on Tuesday morning, and arriving in Milwaukee on Thursday morning, I’ve been enjoying my travel but have been equally ready to get back to Philadelphia as soon as possible.

The past few days in Milwaukee have been good, mostly spent at the Hyatt Regency for this year’s National Right to Life convention. Catching up with Wesley Smith and meeting Dr. David Prentice of the Charlotte Lozier Institute were two highlights. Outside of the conference I made it to Marquette Park on the Milwaukee River and some nearby bars, among other things.

Since I’m not sure that I’ll have cause to be back in Milwaukee anytime soon, I’ll share the view below that I posted from my solo dinner last night along the Riverwalk. Captures my experience of Milwaukee in early summer; the cawing of the gulls will stay with me.​
