Morning in Georgetown

A little scene from earlier this week, after morning mass at Epiphany in Georgetown. How many little moments like this do we miss, because we haven’t constructed our lives in a way that gives us the time or the space to have such moments?

I think little experiences like this are an essential antidote to the politics-as-religion mania of our time.
